Role as a Graduate Assistant:

In this role, you will work closely with a talented and experienced Year 2 teacher to support learning in Key Stage 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the classroom environment and develop a deeper understanding of the primary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Assist the Year 2 teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons that captivate and inspire young learners.

* One-on-One and Group Interventions where you’ll provide targeted support to students needing additional help, ensuring they meet key learning objectives.

* Resource Preparation with the teaching team to prepare lesson plans, activities, and materials.

* Support in observing, evaluating, and tracking students’ progress, offering insights to help tailor teaching approaches.

* Help create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.

* Take part in after-school clubs, activities, and events, contributing to the wider school community.
