Job title: Senior Operations Engineer (Electrical)

Salary: £45,383+ (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

Support all Weapon Systems UK products both in the UK and overseas, ensuring all operational activities are carried out in line with relevant safety requirements
You will provide Suitably Qualified Experienced Personnel (SQEP) input to electrical elements of Weapon Systems UK current & future portfolio
Ongoing electrical maintenance of reference equipment and completion of monthly maintenance checks, strip and survey reports
Conduct electrical function checks and fault investigations
Participate in offsite trial activities
Work closely with the team during solution or future design development
Installation and testing of prototypes
Organise and control any relevant production documentation and assist in the development of work sequences and work instructions
Daily support of facility operations activities
Define and maintain safe processes for operational activities and ensure that all process activities adhere to current Risk Assessment and associated Safe Systems of WorkYour skills and experiences:

HNC/HND Engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to carry out risk assessments, being aware of potential hazards in your area
Able to use root cause analysis tools to problem solve
Working experience of manufacturing or similar environment, utilising systems, tools and structure to influence outcomes around safety, quality, cost, delivery and people
General engineering understanding across design, manufacturing and test processes, and demonstrate the importance of a "safety first" culture
Strong stakeholder management relation across the function and wider businessBenefits:
