What you'll be doing;

To act as a deckhand under the direct supervision of the Bargemasters for safe operation of the vessel whilst at sea.

To assist with the maintenance of the vessel, ensuring the vessel is safe to go to sea and complies with MCA / Veolia land based safety procedures.

Handling of packaged and hazardous waste in order to ensure their safe transportation and disposal.

To carry out duties assigned to you by your line managers.

What we're looking for;

Efficient Deck Hand (EDH) desirable

Minimum Maths and English GCSE

Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Collision Regulations

Experience of being a master, showing an understanding of working at Sea
