Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering contractor from within the EfW sector.

We require a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Edmonton, North London.

The role:

To support the delivery of new dual industrial boiler installation.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and manage mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

* Review technical specifications and develop engineering solutions.

* Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project execution.

* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

* Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

* Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.

* Prepare project documentation ensuring timely completion with the project lead.

* Support and lead technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

* Work directly with the project management team to identify and manage risks at an early stage

Skills, Competencies and Experiences:

* Master's degree level qualification in mechanical engineering

* Minimum of 5 years Mechanical Engineering experience with relative industrial boiler experience

* Chartered status preferred.
