Endeavour Recruitment has a contract opportunity for a Mechanical Process Design Manager with 8-10 years’ experience to join a leading client based in Plymouth.

Onsite expectations is a couple of days a month

Sole British nationals only due to Security Clearance

SC will be required (can start on BPSS)

Essential skills and experience required:

* 8-10+ years’ experience of designing a mechanical services / process system.

* Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.

* Understanding of hydraulic / pressure calculations.

* Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc)

* BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree.

* Line management experience of 5+ direct reports.

* Has been responsible for the programme and design output of a work package.

Highly desirable:

* Chartered Engineer.

* Masters’ education

Desirable:

* Understanding of IEC 61511
