Project Quantity Surveyor - Property Services

Exciting opportunity for Project Surveyor to join a Leading Property Services company!

* Up to £75k + car allowance + 8% pension

The role:

We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading property services companies. They specialise in both in planned and responsive works for RSL’S (registered social landlords) and pride themselves as a market leader. They have secured a £21m contract to carry out energy improvement works on behalf of the Royal Borough of Greenwich through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. The project itself is 665 Royal Borough of Greenwich homes through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. You will be working out of their Dartford office.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that the main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed

* Complete and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) and progress reports

* Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up

* Agree external valuations / cash flow to maximise project value

* Work with the Commercial Manager to agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts

* Ensure all subcontract management / process obligations are complete with reference to Procurement, Measurement and valuation, Contractual instructions / notices / orders as well as Health and Safety

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor on occupied Social Housing Refurb.

* Strong knowledge of work internals and external programmes.

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.

* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within social housing.
