The Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving packaging machinery and systems within the factory. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of all packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on packaging machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with packaging equipment and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with engineering colleagues to ensure smooth operation of packaging lines.
Ensure all maintenance schedules are recorded
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all packaging equipment.
Monitor equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all packaging operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Provide training and support to production staff on proper use and maintenance of packaging machinery.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging machinery.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience within the FMCG industry.
Specific Qualifications
Qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
