SmartPro are working a specialist manufacturer in Swansea who have recently opened a new site and are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Forklift licence and industry experience. This role is a mix of Forklift operating, operating various machinery within a production setting and some warehouse duties. The role involves some physical tasks.

Hours: 830am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

* Using Forklift to move stock

* Accurately pick and weigh raw materials

* Manufacture bulk product according to blend sheet quantities and mixing instructions, recording batch numbers for traceability.

* Following all SSOW and Quality procedures.

* Transferring bulk product into storage vessels and containers.

* Cleaning of mixing vessels and general housekeeping.

* Relocating raw materials into the storage area.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Experience for the Forklift Operator:

* Proven experience as a Forklift Operator within a manufacturing or production environment.

* Ability to carry heavy loads.

* Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.

* Has an appreciation of Health & Safety.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
