Lift Engineer, Colchester
We encourage candidates who live within 1-1.5hrs from the Colchester area to apply due to the regions this position covers.
£45,000 base salary + company van (Paid travel time to/from site)
8:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday - 8:00-15:00 Friday (1hr lunch)
Rota - 1 in 6 covering on call/standby for 7-day period.
On call standby rate and additional call out rate per hour with higher rate for Sunday/Bank Holidays
Option for flexi time to be converted from on call/out of hours.
Our client, a well-established independent service and repair business operating within the lift and escalator industry are seeking an experienced NVQ3 qualified Service and Repair Lift Engineer to join their busy team on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be operational throughout East Anglia, North London and North West Kent carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades on all varieties of lifts and escalators for established and new clients.
Outline of role
* Carrying out routine servicing, call outs and repairs
* Responding to emergency breakdown call outs out of hours
* Updating work records (written and electronic)
* Ensure all equipment meets health and safety regulations
* Producing risk assessment reports
Candidates are required to be qualified to NVQ3 level as a minimum. We are also interested to hear from candidates who in addition to the above have line management and/or audit experience.
