About the role
Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a two-form entry in Farnborough to appoint a Year 6 teacher. The role will commence from January 2024 and will continue on a full-time basis. The position will cover a member of staff who is expecting to be on maternity for a period of at least 6 months. There is potential for the role to become permanent at the end of the academic year should this be of interest.

The school is currently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This inspection highlighted the school’s supportive Leadership Team and the accelerated progress the children make from EYFS through to Year 6. The inspection also highlighted the ‘exemplary behaviour’ in and out of the classroom. All the staff that we have based their previously has thoroughly enjoyed their time here.

Requirements:
QTS
Ability to mark effectively
Effective classroom management skills
Prior experience teaching in Primary Schools
Encouragement of the school’s behaviour policy
Enhanced child only DBS or willing to get one.
