Management Commercial Accountant – Buckinghamshire, UK (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Management Commercial Accountant to join our client’s finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in the food industry who is looking to advance within a supportive and dynamic company. The position offers clear career progression, with a succession plan in place for growth to Finance Manager and ultimately to Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Management Commercial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts.
* This role requires ownership of the financial forecast, providing strategic updates and insights to drive business decisions.
* Involvement in budgeting and 5-year planning, working closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s financial strategy.
* Supporting the company’s commercial initiatives through detailed forecasting, framework evaluations, and identifying cost efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification is preferred.
* 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant role.
* At least 6 months in the food manufacturing industry.
* Desirable experience in cost-saving initiatives, promotional evaluation, and ERP systems implementation.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance and manage a team of four.
This role is a direct succession plan with a clear trajectory to progress to Finance Manager and ultimately to Head of Finance within the company.
