An opportunity to join a well-established labels company has arisen in the way of a Flexographic Printer position. Our client prioritises the use of recycled materials to produce high-quality labelling solutions whilst also reducing their environmental impact. They are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printer to join their dynamic team in Leeds.

Role Overview:
As a Flexographic Printer, you will play a vital role in their production process, operating advanced printing presses to produce high-quality labels. While experience with Nilpeter FA4 presses is preferred, it is not essential. Your contributions will be key to their commitment to sustainability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate flexographic printing presses to produce labels with precision and quality.

Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to specifications.

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal performance.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Follow safety and quality control procedures throughout the printing process.

Requirements:

Experience as a flexographic printer, preferably with Nilpeter FA4 presses (not essential).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage of up to £18.50, with an uplift for night shifts.

Weekly rotating shifts:

Earlies: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Lates: 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Thursday (8:00 PM finish on Fridays)

Nights: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday - Thursday
