TeacherActive is collaborating with a speciality day school in the centre of Epping, Essex, that strives to provide each and every student with a warm and welcoming environment. The school's primary goal is to ensure that students with special needs succeed academically and personally by offering them outstanding assistance and instruction.

To add to the incredible team at the school, we are now looking for a committed and caring learning support assistant. The chosen applicant will ideally have worked in an environment catering to special needs students in the past. You'll be assisting students with their everyday tasks and assisting them in realising their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This is a full-time position that requires five days a week of work with an incredible team. Working at this wonderful school for five days will help you advance both professionally and personally. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Give kids one-on-one and group support to help with their social and academic development.

In order to support classroom management and implement individual education plans (IEPs), collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff members.

Create a welcoming and safe learning atmosphere to make sure all of your pupils are at ease and motivated to study.

help with the organisation and execution of specialised educational programs.
Track and report on the academic progress of each kid, collaborating with parents and the teaching staff to modify support as necessary.

Encourage pupils' emotional and social health so they can grow into self-assured, independent adults.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working within a Provision, preferably
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, preferably
Excellent behaviour management
A passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
