Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: £150 - £210 per day

Class Mate is working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Loughborough (LE11) that is looking for a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a part time OR full time basis.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced school that values creativity and high-quality teaching.

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

*

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development.

*

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and independence.

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

*

Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning standards.

Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within KS1.

*

A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, including phonics and SATs preparation.

*

A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.

*

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

*

A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
