Head of Regulatory Affairs (Food Industry)
 
THE ROLE
  
This is a key leadership role for a highly regarded international regulatory consultancy, providing the food industry - including leading retailers and market-leading manufacturers, with international food regulatory and compliance, world-class guidance and support.
  
The Head of Regulatory plays a critical part in this business - you will play a key ambassadorial role in guiding our partners through the complex regulatory requirements governing the food industry, with responsibility for developing strategies to address regulatory challenges, and provide invaluable insights, ensuring products meet all regulations and standards.
  
Influencing the industry regulatory narrative, you will have ‘top table’ regulatory discussions and represent this market-leading organisation at the highest level in the industry.
  
ABOUT YOU
  
Experience in a senior-level regulatory or compliance role in a food manufacturing, retailer or compliance/regulatory consultancy is essential.
  
Comfortable at the top table with industry leaders, and having the gravitas, knowledge and expertise to lead expert regulatory support, discussion and debate and steer the narrative going forward. 
  
In-depth knowledge, experience and understanding of UK and international food legislation and compliance, again is essential.
  
Hold a degree (or equivalent) in food science, food law, regulatory affairs, or similar.
  
This is a home-based role, but you must be prepared to travel to our offices and clients, mainly based in  London and the South-East.
