Working Days: Monday - Wednesday
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

PK Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Upper KS2 teacher to join a lovely village school near Tadcaster, Leeds. This part-time role will involve supporting a smaller class of mixed Year 5/6 pupils, and we are looking for someone who can deliver high-quality teaching, maintain strong classroom management, and build meaningful relationships with students, particularly those with SEND and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a mixed Year 5/6 class.
Maintain high expectations for both behaviour and academic work.
Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports students with SEND and SEMH.
Build strong rapport and trust with students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
Provide tailored support and interventions to ensure the academic and social development of all students.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a safe, supportive learning space.
Planning is already done, so you can focus on delivering the lessons effectively.
Key Requirements:

Experience teaching Upper KS2, with a particular focus on Year 5/6.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high expectations for behaviour and work.
Ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with students, especially those with SEND and SEMH.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential, both academically and socially.
