Job Title: Fabricator**

**Location: Burton on Trent (with overseas site work in USA, Australia, Europe)**

**Job Type: Full-time, Permanent**

Kenton Black are pleased to be partnered with a Manufacturing Facility who are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Fabricator to join their dynamic team based in Burton on Trent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding with sheet metal, ideally along with knowledge in MMA and MAG welding techniques. This role will require overseas travel to various job sites, offering the opportunity to work in a global setting while representing the company's high standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities for a Fabricator:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine the fabrication process of metal components.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (TIG).
- Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
- Perform welding according to exact standards, ensuring a high level of quality and integrity in the welds.
- Travel overseas for on-site work as required, with all expenses covered by the employer.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a TIG welder, specifically working with sheet metal.
- Competence in Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding, and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MAG) will be considered beneficial.
- Must hold either City & Guilds qualification in Sheet metal work or plating, BTEC Level 2 in Fabrication & Welding, or BTEC Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Must have the ability to travel extensively for overseas site work as required.
