Application Support Manager
London – Hybrid – x2 days in office
Salary – £60,000
Are you an Application Support professional with proven experience in a senior or managerial position? Due to a company restructure, my client is looking for an experienced Application Support Manager to support a bespoke system within the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but dynamic support team & take them to the next level.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a small team of highly functional application support professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Prioritize and respond to support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
* Utilize a strong understanding of SQL and MS Office to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
* Continuously seek ways to enhance support processes and improve overall team performance.
* Maintain excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise updates on ticket progress and resolution.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in a senior or managerial application support role, with a proven track record of success.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and MS Office, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
* Experience managing and leading a team, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
