Our varied client in Harwich are looking to take on a new welder after winning new contracts! They are looking for a MIG welder to join their workshop and site based company. The firm undertake a variety of work including repairs and maintenance of equipment and site works.

Starting salary would be between £13-17ph based on previous experience. Hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday with all overtime paid at 1.5x rate!

Duties include:

Previous MIG welding experience
Able to weld mild steel, up from 5mm+
Previous fabrication experience
Read & working from engineering drawings independently
Site work as requiredAnyone who has previously worked out on site with knowledge of agricultural repairs would be of extreme interest, and MMA welding isn't required but would be an advantage.

This will be a permanent position subject to probation and workload levels.
