Our client is looking to recruit an experienced sales engineer to join their friendly UK team, based out of their UK headquarters in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible in assisting the Sales & Technical Manager in developing both new and existing customer accounts across the business.
The role is a permanent, full-time position with immediate start available.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and delivering sales and technical presentations and demonstrations of their products and services.
* Aiding and advice to their sales team.
* Generating sales leads, negotiating prices, and completing sales.
* Assisting customers with installation queries and product issues.
* Achieving individual sales quotas and team sales goals.
* Training non-technical sales team members.
Requirements
* NVQ level qualification in engineering is desired, but not essential. Previous work experience will be considered.
* Proven experience in technical sales and customer account management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on increasing sales revenue.
* Outstanding problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills with experience in building effective customer relationships and resolving customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
* Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
* An ability to relay technical information to non-technical clients.
* Good team working and leadership skills.
* Willingness to travel - the role is UK based with most travel being domestic but may, from time to time, require some international commitments.
* Knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office programs and ERP/CRM database experience is desired (training on company ERP/CRM will be provided).
Full UK driving license.
Working Hours - Monday - Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-16:00
