About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join a company that manufactures special purpose equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for picking parts for the manufacturing teams and packaging customer orders. You will play an essential part in ensuring that materials are readily available for production and customer orders are accurately packaged and dispatched.

Forklift experience is desirable but not essential, as we are willing to provide training. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and become an integral part of our warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare parts for manufacturing teams based on order requests and production needs

*

Package customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are correctly packed for safe transport

*

Maintain stock levels and ensure that parts and materials are stored correctly in the warehouse

*

Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy

*

Ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner to meet production deadlines

*

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures within the warehouse

*

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring all incoming goods are checked and stored appropriately

*

Keep the warehouse organised and clean, ensuring a safe working environment

*

Operate a forklift (if trained) to assist with moving large or heavy items around the warehouse

*

Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Key Skills & Qualifications

*

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is beneficial

*

Forklift experience is desirable, but not essential (training will be provided)

*

Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

*

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

*

Ability to lift and move goods safely and efficiently

*

Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment

*

A proactive and positive attitude towards work
