Job Title: Sales Manager - Heavy Plant Equipment
Location: Remote (Field-based with extensive travel within Brighton, Kent, Essex, and London)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 
OTE: £90,000 - £100,000 (once established)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team, responsible for selling and managing a full range of heavy plant equipment, including large wheel loaders, dumpers, and excavators (8t+). This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company with a technical background in the construction industry. You'll leverage existing accounts while focusing on winning new business, providing customers with tailored solutions, and offering technical support.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the sales of a full range of heavy plant equipment (8t+), including wheel loaders, dumpers, and excavators.
Focus on both new business development and maintaining existing customer relationships.
Provide timely, accurate quotations for potential orders.
Assess customer needs and present customized, technical solutions.
Offer technical support and advice to customers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
Keep track of competitor offerings and strategically position our products in the market.

Proven technical background, ideally from an engineering or heavy plant equipment field.
5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
Ability to work independently, managing your own workload and responsibilities.
Experience with CRM systems, particularly Dynamics 365.
Skilled in cold calling and business development, with a strong focus on new business generation (80/20 split).
A solid understanding of technical specifications and the ability to present customized solutions based on customer needs.
Strong drive, appearance, and motivation to succeed.Location & Travel:
