Sustainability Engineer - NDEA

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established building services consultancy in the South Coast who provide a holistic approach to the built environment. They are looking for an NDEA qualified Sustainability engineer who can hit the ground running with a range of non-domestic projects they have taken on.

Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Engineer include:

Carry out site visits to undertake EPC surveys and produce EPCs for existing buildings
Undertake Part L analysis for design stages of projects
Produce sustainability statements and Low or Zero Carbon feasibility reports for design stages of non-domestic projects
Use IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments and daylight studies
Work alongside the building services team on projects as well as mentoring more junior members of staffThe ideal Sustainability Engineer will have:

A level 3 or 4 NDEA qualification
Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out Dynamic Simulation Modelling
Relevant experience within a sustainability or energy role within the built environment industry
Experience delivering BREEAM or LCA's would be advantageous
Excellent Communication skills and strong attention to detailBenefits of the role include:
