Maintenance Surveyor

* Hourly rate: Negotiable
* Location: Hybrid - Tonbridge Kent TN9
* Hours: 36 hours per week
* Job Type: Temp till end September

We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join a large social housing organisation based within Tonbridge Kent to cover the local region. This role is crucial in overseeing both in-house and external repair services, ensuring high standards of delivery that meet customer expectations and provide value for money.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Carry out pre and post-inspections and create detailed reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs.
* Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
* Manage the performance and progress of the repairs service, ensuring that quality works are delivered on time, with minimal defects, and within budget.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualification in a property-related discipline, such as HNC in Surveying, or a degree-level qualification.
* Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
* Ability to travel across the region as required - full UK Driving Licence required
* Must be eligible to work in the UK; not able to offer visa sponsorship.
