Senior Quantity Surveyor required by reputable Civil Engineering contractor on a freelance basis. Abatec is a recruitment agency assisting a Civil Engineering client that is well established and has security of work due to their involvement with Hinkley Point C project. Our client is involved in major Civil Engineering schemes and are looking to add to their established commercial team on a specific, long-term project based from Avonmouth

As an Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

* Be part of a commercial team, responsible for a team of surveyors.

* Have worked for Tier One contractors on civil engineering projects.

* Have experience of administering contracts, resolving contract issues, valuations, CE’s etc.

* Have working knowledge of NEC contracts.

Our client requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with:

* Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

* Experience of working for a Civil Engineering contractor.

* Experience of managing a small team of surveyors.

Rates:

* Umbrella (PAYE)

* £450 - £500 per shift
