Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a processing dairy and are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their sites in Grassington and Keighley.

The business currently produces and distributes milk, along with other associated dairy products, throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities for the maintenance engineer include –

* To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators,

chillers and bottling machinery.

* Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine downtimes to a minimum

* Electrical repairs to motors, drives, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contactors, sensors

* PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults. - Recording and communicating all findings

* Assisting with projects and the installation of new plant - Communicating effectively with the engineering manager

* Assisting with developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, offline repairs,

* planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager. - Adhere to all company policies.

Experience preffered in the areas below - further development and training will be provided.

* Electrical qualification or willing to undertake training to gain qualification

* Electronics/plc

* Pneumatics

* Mechanical engineering

* Mig and Tig welding

* A proven track record in an engineering and fault finding role

* A can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

The position is based around a 4 day week, Mon-Sat coverage with average 44 hours per week.
