Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Product Support Engineer who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and possesses a strong technical background. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to serve as the first and only point of contact for all customers, managing the full customer cycle from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide top-tier technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
* Efficiently diagnose and resolve customer issues to ensure high satisfaction.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline customer issue resolution.
* Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed customer records.
* Conduct on-site customer training with up to 30% travel required.
* Audit authorised service centres to maintain high standards.
* Visit client locations to provide comprehensive training on product usage, maintenance & servicing.
* Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in electronic instrumentation is advantageous.
* Proficiency in supporting software applications and understanding engineering processes.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Previous experience in customer support roles.
* Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally and domestically.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
* High proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel and Adobe InDesign.
* Flexibility to occasionally support American customers.
Ideal Candidate We are seeking a product expert who can manage a full scope of inquiries from customers and liaise effectively with all key stakeholders. This role would be well-suited for a Quality Engineer or Technical Product Expert who is customer-focused and detail-oriented.
