Position: HGV Technician

Location: Portsmouth

Rate: £32.00 Per Hour

Shift: Nights (17:00 – 01:30)

CONTRACT HGV TECHNICIAN – THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an HGV Technician to work at our clients workshop on an ongoing contractual basis. You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of service, repairs and routine maintenance to their trucks in the workshop, covering a nightshift which runs 17:00 – 01:30. This contract is Outside IR35 and the rate on offer is £32.00PH.

CONTRACT HGV TECHNICIAN – DUTIES

* Service, repair and routine maintenance on HGV’s

* Adhering to high quality standards

* Ensuring timely completion of all tasks

* Adhering to all workshop health and safety regulations

* Working as part of a productive team

CONTRACT HGV TECHNICIAN – SKILLS REQUIRED

* City & Guilds/NVQ or similar in the relevant disciplines

* Good level of experience carrying out repairs to commercial vehicles

* Ability to manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed

* Strong communication skills

* Valid UK driving license
