Grounds Maintenance Operative – Temp to Perm

Location: Stroud and surrounding areas
Pay: £15 per hour
Hours: 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday (Friday off!)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

I’m recruiting on behalf of a Tier 2 Groundworks firm that is looking to expand its Grounds Maintenance team. Due to ongoing projects they are seeking reliable operatives to join their team.

The Role:

Grass cutting on water utility sites using Scag rotary mowers, strimmers, and blowers
Weed control (wastewater teams) using knapsack sprayers
Working outdoors, ensuring sites are kept to a high standard

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence required (CSCS card not essential)
Experience not required – full training provided
Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn – general labourers have successfully transitioned into this role before
