Design Technology Teacher Role
• Plan and prepare effective lessons in Design Technology for KS3 and GCSE students.
• Deliver interactive lessons that capture students’ imaginations and foster their passion for Design Technology.
• Incorporate theoretical aspects of Design Technology into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and schemes of work that align with the national curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate assessment and feedback to students in line with whole school and department policy.

Requirements
• Teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed. with QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology.
• Passionate about teaching Design Technology and strong command of the subject.
• Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management.
• Committed and reflective professional who strives for continued improvement.
• Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new one with GSL Education.

Salary
• MPS/UPS: £31,650 - £46,084 per annum.
