* Maintaining oil, tires, and other consumables: Ensure these are at safe levels
* Diagnosing issues: Use manual methods or software and digital tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults
* Repairing and replacing parts: Fix or replace worn out parts
* Performing maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing
* Conducting safety checks: Examine vehicles to determine if further safety work is required
