The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Learning Tree are committed to delivering quality solutions to retain clients and build relationships and your role will be pivotal to ensuring we deliver a top-quality product and service.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for answering customer calls, responding to emails and chat inquiries, and providing essential support to our sales and administration teams. Your duties will include enrolling customers into courses, giving pricing details, handling complaints with empathy and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will also be involved in pre-course planning, courseware ordering, invoicing, and reporting. While complaint handling is part of the job, it is a rare occurrence.
What You Will Bring
With your experience answering customer incoming calls and handling outbound calls, successfully closing sales opportunities, you’ll be adept at effectively responding to customer emails or chat functions, you’ll be familiar working to SLA’s, and have a proven track record in complaint handling, investigating, resolving, and closing support tickets. Ideally, you’ll have worked with CRM systems and have experience in a goal-oriented customer service environment. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, gained from experience in a highly administrative role.
You’ll have a positive attitude and a genuine drive to help people and rectify situations. This role would suit someone who gets satisfaction from doing a good job and helping others. You’ll enjoy working in a diverse environment where no day is ever the same, and there are always new tasks and challenges to tackle. You’ll be curious and eager to learn new skills and adapt to changes as new products or systems are introduced and motivated to learn various functions such as pre-course planning, courseware ordering, invoicing, and reporting. Additionally, you will value collaborative teamwork and building positive working relationships, contributing to a friendly and supportive team atmosphere.
About the Team
As Customer Services Assistant, you’ll be working in a small, friendly, and supportive team. This role offers great job satisfaction for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working collaboratively as a team to achieve excellence in customer service. The team values good timekeeping, creating a friendly working atmosphere and building positive working relationships.
The Customer Services team is often the customer's first interaction with Learning Tree. Providing an exceptional first impression is paramount, as is every interaction with customers and colleagues alike. The team plays a crucial role at Learning Tree, from sales to problem-solving and supporting the sales team with excellent leads.
The Package
Salary for the Customer Services role is £24,500 per annum.
Because this role is pivotal to the support of our customers, this role which require flexibility between the hours of 07:30 – 18:00 (37.5 hours per week). You’ll have a great hybrid balance, working 1-2 days per week in our offices in either London or Leatherhead and the remainder from home.
