Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] to join their modern dealership, based in Basingstoke (Hampshire). You will have a positive can-do attitude, hard working, efficient and have great housekeeping. The position of Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] requires the individual to assess / estimate accident damage using the required knowledge and methods to ascertain the safest repair method. An ATA is desirable but not essential, as is knowledge of Audatex, Autoflow etc. You will have 2-5 years experience in a similar role, live in or around Basingstoke (Hampshire). You need to assess the vehicle to make sure the vehicle returns to the customer in pre accident condition if not better. Following the manufacturers methods you will build assessment, liaise with the customer, and negotiate with Insurance engineers.
 
Duties will include but not limited to:

Ascertaining accident circumstances
Creating assessments / estimates
Dealing with total loss vehicles
Negotiating rates with none approved body repair providers
Working closely with engineers and insurers building close relationships
