Electrical Design Engineer – Hybrid (Norwich or London)
£40,000 - £55,000 basic, and benefits

My client is currently recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in a hybrid role, with travel to the office and meetings as required.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Electrical Design Engineer for a well-established local Building Services Consultancy. Our consultancy collaborates with a variety of clients within the educational, healthcare, commercial, residential, aviation and defence sectors.
Key Accountabilities include:
* Design and implement electrical systems for a wide range of projects
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create electrical designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards and regulations
* Work independently and mentor junior staff to help them grow
* Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork
Experience/Qualifications
* At least 4 years of relevant experience in UK Building Services in Electrical Engineering, with equivalent qualifications
* Ideally, membership in industry-recognised organisations such as CIBSE or IET
* Excellent technical knowledge in your primary discipline and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design throughout all stages of the design process
* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
* Proficiency in Office 365, Amtech (Trimble), Dialux EVO, or Relux
* In-depth understanding of modern technical delivery methods and competence in designing and reviewing information by others
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment, leading, motivating, and supervising junior engineers
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability in negotiating positive outcomes, resource planning, motivation, and management
* Excellent communication skills with clients and a team-based work approach
* Commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
Desirable Skills:
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software packages
Package / Remuneration:
The remuneration package offered at this stage is subject to the experience of the candidate, but will likely include the following.
Basic Salary: Between £40,000 - £55,000
