Kenna Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for an Administrator to join one of the UK's Tier 1 Developers based out of their stunning Head Office in Addlestone, Surrey. We are immediately searching for someone and are interviewing for this position now!
Overview:
This will be a pivotal support role which will involve working closely with all departments to ensure the Commercial Department is able to function to the best of its abilities. You will ideally have experience in a similar role within the housebuilding industry, but all applications will be considered.
You will be a highly organised individual, with a high level of accuracy ensuring correct policy and procedures have been followed at all times. Ability to build good rapport with internal and external stakeholders is essential and you must be competent using Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
In addition to the commercial administration part of the role, the successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Technical Administrator in order to provide broader support to the division. In doing so, Commercial Administrator will be exposed to other aspects of the Special Projects Division’s work.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
Commercial Administration
* Paying Subcontractors
* Raising orders for Subcontractors
* Issuing payment certificates to Subcontractors
* Managing some Subcontractor accounts directly
* Dealing with queries via telephone and email
* Setting up new Subcontractors
* Working closely with Surveyors to ensure all payments are dealt with promptly and ensure that sites are able to function fully
* Managing the commercial and legal approval process before entry into subcontracts and remedial works agreements and licences.
* Assist with setting-up, monitoring and management of contractor and consultant framework agreements.
Other Duties.
As and when the need arises, work with the Technical Administrator in the following duties:
* Management and maintenance of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) data report.
* Updating and maintenance of the Special Projects Division master property schedule.
* Organise internal and external meetings.
* Monitor for correct use of Replicon timesheet system by team members.
* Raising Purchase Orders for legal and certain consultancy work.
* Act as Special Projects Division’s intranet administrator.
* Make telephone call to/receive calls from customers, management companies etc.
