Role: Payroll Executive

Location: Bedford

Hours: Monday to Friday flexible times 40 hrs pw

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an experience Payroll Executive to be part of a dedicated team in Bedford.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be organised and methodical in your approach; and have the ability to work towards deadlines and prioritise your workload.

Hybrid working – Monday to Wednesday in our HQ offices and Thursday and Friday the option to work from home. Our offices are open Thursdays and Fridays if they wish to work from there or required to work in the office on those days due to business needs.

What will you be doing in the Payroll Exec role?

Oversee and follow the company payroll processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Maintain the payroll information by collecting, calculation and entering data
Manage the auto-enrolment pension process for all employees.
Administer pension re-enrolment.
Process pension refunds.
Prepare and submit P11D.
Process and reconcile monthly benefits reports such as Medicash, AXA Health insurance.
Reconcile wages, NI, and pension accounts.
What we would like from you:

Previous Payroll experience
Good all round HMRC knowledge – PAYE tax, NI, SMP etc
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Confident user of Excel, Vlookup, PIVOT tables.
Ability to work confidentially and discreetly.
