The role – what is it we would like you to do? 
Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager with substantial rail infrastructure experience to join our team based in York or Leeds. This hybrid role will require you to be onsite with the client 3 days per week. 
Your core duties will involve:

Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments for our large rail clients working on both civil and infrastructure construction side of the project with a  focus on delivery. 
Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
Assisting with commercial management services
Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projects
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationshipsWhat skills and attributes are we looking for from you:

Technical delivery experience gained within the rail infrastructure/construction industry 
Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
BSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying or equivalent
Risk management qualifications or experience
