RECYCLING OPERATION SEEKS QUALIFIED FORKLIFT OPERATOR FOR A HANDS-ON ROLE IN A PREDOMINANTLY OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

ROLE: Yard Operative / FLT Driver

SALARY: £25K plus Bonus (OTE £29,000)

LOCATION: Atherton

HOURS: Mon to Weds: 07:30 to 17:00, Thurs & Fri: (Alternating) 07:30 to 17:00 / 08:00 to 17:30

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Forklift Operator, FLT Driver, Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative

You may have experience in Warehousing, Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Construction, Demolition, Scrap Metal, Building Products, Material Supplies, Quarries, or Aggregates

ROLE: Yard Operative / Forklift Operator

Your role will involve grading, quality inspecting, sorting, and processing scrap metal, with full training provided. You will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with site safety regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards. Operating a forklift truck will be a key part of the role, along with performing general maintenance and keeping the work area clean and organised. You will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Forklift Operator, FLT Driver, Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative

FLT Licence is required for this role
