Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) – London (Hybrid)
Location: London & surrounding areas (Hybrid with site travel)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car/Allowance + 25 Days Holiday
42 hours per week | Full-time, Permanent

J3A Recruitment are working closely with a fast-growing mechanical engineering contractor with a full order book is looking for a Project Manager with mechanical expertise to take charge of key projects across Greater London. This hybrid role will involve travel to site and a particular focus on London trunk mains and sewer schemes for Thames Water.

What you'll be doing:

* Managing several water infrastructure projects at once (project values from £15k–£250k+)

* Leading delivery on trunk main and sewer-related works across Thames Water sites

* Writing RAMS, reviewing fabrication drawings, quoting works, and planning projects

* Conducting site surveys, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely, safe delivery

What they’re looking for:

* HNC / HND (or similar) in Mechanical Engineering

* Strong track record in the water industry, ideally working with Thames Water

* Experience managing sewer or trunk main schemes is a big plus

* Knowledge of mechanical systems and installations

* Able to handle project documentation and communicate effectively across all levels

* Electrical experience is a bonus, but not a requirement
