Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hampshire (Commutable from: Eastleigh, Southampton, Winchester, Romsey, Basingstoke, Chandlers Ford and Fareham)
Salary: Circa £45,000 plus contributory pension scheme
Shift: Monday to Friday (Full-time)

Are you a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Zest Engineering are working closely with a highly reputable food manufacturer on the outskirts of Southampton.

Similar roles include; Maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing technician, continuous improvement engineer, maintenance technician

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across a range of systems.
* Carry out breakdown fault finding and maintenance on production machinery.
* Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve equipment failures and recurring issues.
* Maintain and optimise steam systems, ensuring they run safely and efficiently.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve overall equipment performance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (electrical and mechanical).
* Previous experience working within food manufacturing.
* Strong experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
* In-depth knowledge of steam systems and associated equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
* Monday - Friday, however flexibility with hours as when needed.
