Vehicle Polisher (must have previous bodyshop experience)

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Pay Rate: £14.72 p/h PAYE, £17.07 p/h Umbrella

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (40 hours a week)

Employment Type: Long-term, Ongoing work

We are seeking experienced Vehicle Polishers to join our client’s well-established bodyshop team in Corby. Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standard for customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.

The Role:

* Polish newly painted panels to remove dirt inclusions and achieve a factory-standard finish.

* Correct minor paint defects and remove scratches.

* Assist other areas of the workshop when required.

* Support the training and development of junior team members.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role within an automotive bodyshop.

* Full UK Driving Licence (held for at least 2 years, with no more than 6 points for minor offences).

* You will need to have excellent attention to detail.

* You must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.

* Be happy working in a fast paced, busy workshop.
