This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Shift Manager with British Gypsum Works based at our Robertsbridge site.

British Gypsum is part of Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions (SGIS). Much of Britain has been built with British gypsum. Gypsum is the vital raw material at the heart of our plaster and plasterboard, and much of it is mined, milled and made in Britain. We have been mining gypsum for more than 150 years, a heritage we're very proud of.

You will be required to work shifts on a 24-7 pattern.

What we're looking for:

A defined history of team leadership and person management.
Relevant management or supervisory experience of a manufacturing process.
Ideally, a technical background, used to a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Track record of delivering results in a demanding environment.
Experience of working in a strong unionised environment.
Great interpersonal skills, great coach.
Good IT, communication, and organizational skills.
SAP knowledge an advantage; training can be provided.
Lean manufacturing aware.What you will be doing:

As a Shift Manager you will be responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible production team and to control and ensure that the manufacture of all products is carried out efficiently, to the agreed standard, whilst adhering to all EHS, quality, WCM and process assurance principles
