The Mechanical Engineer's role
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing M&E consultancy services, ensuring project success from inception to completion. You will play a pivotal role in leading project teams, supporting technical delivery, and maintaining client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing strategic leadership on mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects.
Overseeing M&E design and consultancy services
Managing project teams and liaising with clients, architects, and contractors.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Conducting site inspections and technical reviews.
Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the M&E division.
The Mechanical Engineer
The ideal Mechanical Engineer will join at an Associate Director level and have:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
Extensive experience in M&E consultancy, with a strong mechanical bias.
A proven track record in leading and delivering building services projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and hospitality.
Strong leadership, client management, and communication skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a consultancy environment.
