About the Role:

CRS are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to join a team at a busy sawmill in Gretna. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in fabrication and maintenance work, looking for a stable and rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.

* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sawmill machinery and equipment.

* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to ensure smooth operation.

* Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar maintenance fabricator role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* Proficiency in welding, cutting, and metal fabrication.

* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Commitment to health and safety practices.
