Techniche are supporting a leading automotive manufacturer to appoint an experienced Triage Engineer who will provide technical support for cloud-based issue analysis for their Connected Car Engineering team.
Pay Rate:               up to £27p/hr PAYE+ holiday and pension pay
Location:               Cranfield, Bedfordshire - hybrid (3 days working in the office; 2 days WFH)
Duration:               12 month rolling contract
  
Role Responsibilities:

Lead Quality investigations for connected car Engineering team
Provide technical support for cloud-based issue analysis.
Utilise analytical tools to identify trends & triage concerns.
Utilise & Enhance MS Azure OMS Queries to debug & Triage concerns.
Extract logs from the cloud & coordinate with the supplier to fix the concern.
Generate reports & share with the members locally & globally.
Proficient in using ticket management tools like Jira
Cross functional working with project quality, management, and engineering teams to ensure early response & transparency to concerns.
Conduct Root cause investigation of complex concerns including the necessary stakeholders.   
Background And Experience:

Bachelor of Engineering degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
Have relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic development relating to vehicle body electronics, navigation or telematics systems e.g. in aerospace, telecoms or similar.
Have knowledge of the electrical architecture of modern vehicle electronics and experience of fault finding.
Have a good awareness of Connected car system onboard (in vehicle) & offboard (cloud) side.
Have a good understand network communications and cloud system.
Good experience in Kusto Query is an advantage but not a must.
Must be proficient in the ticket management tools.
Be able to demonstrate and have practical experience in problem solving tools and techniques.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Competent with PC applications including advanced Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point
