In the role of Demand Planner, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the Procurement & Supply Chain department within an Manufacturing setting. Your skills in forecasting and inventory management will be paramount to your success in this position.

Description

Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.
Collaborate with department heads to validate demand forecast accuracy.
Work closely with the supply chain to ensure on-time deliveries.
Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

Proficiency in statistical software and databases.
Demand Planning experience essential
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.

An estimated salary range of £36,000 to £44,000, subject to experience.
