HGV Class-1 Driver – Car Transporter - Radlett

Experience preferred however, Car Transporter training will be provided to the suitable candidate

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: Monday to Friday (overnight incl) with some weekends

Experience: Driving a Class-1 Goods Vehicle 1 year minimum (for Insurance purposes). Preference given to experienced Car Transporter Drivers but training will be provided where neccessary.

Salary: £38K - £45K

Our client is a high-end Vehicle delivery service offering collection and deliveries of prestige motor vehicles across the UK and Europe in modern well-maintained covered transporter trucks.

Working on behalf of blue-chip high-profile customers, you will be using our fleet of enclosed car transporters to carry out your daily duties of vehicle delivery.

A good eye for detail is paramount and you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in this high end, customer facing role.

* Valid HGV Class-1 Driving Licence

* Valid Tacho Card

* Ability to pass CRB/DBS checks.

* Ability to pass a Drugs and Alcohol test.

* Driving an HGV Class-1 Goods Vehicle 1 year minimum (for insurance purposes)

* No more than 6 points

* Excellent communication skills

* Tech savvy

Role Responsibilities

* The timely & safe delivery of customer vehicles by ensuring they are secured correctly within our transporters.

* All legislation in relation to tachograph and driver’s hours must be followed.

* As a Brand Ambassador you will be smart and presentable.

* The successful candidate will have a customer first approach and will be excited about the essential part you play in making your customer’s ‘New Car Day’ a special and immersive experience.

Shift patterns predominantly run on a Monday to Friday basis, however, the ideal candidate must be willing to work nights out as well as occasional weekends due to customer requirements and the geography we cover.
