The Role
As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations to ensure successful project delivery. From managing day-to-day activities to ensuring compliance with safety standards, you’ll be the driving force behind smooth operations on site.
What You’ll Do:
* Take overall responsibility for site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and materials.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
* Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement the project plan.
* Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring works meet client and industry standards.
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates, flagging risks and opportunities as needed.
* Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
About You

Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Site Agent or Project Manager on civil engineering or utilities projects.
* Strong understanding of water infrastructure and/or AMP frameworks (AMP7/AMP8 experience is highly desirable).
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety standards, and industry regulations.
* Relevant qualifications: Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or similar).
* Valid CSCS card (essential), with SMSTS and First Aid certifications preferred
