Shift Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for a Shift Engineer to work on a high profile, critical site in the City of London. Working for a market leader in the Building Services Industry where you will gain valuable career experience, opportunities to progress further internally and be put through additional training. You will be part of an experienced maintenance team on site, overseeing the PPM and Reactive maintenance on site for all M&E equipment, liaise with subcontractors and get involved on the site switching / scheduling.

For this role, you will be put through High Voltage Training!

This role follows a continental shift pattern, days and nights. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) , at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance and possess a client facing attitude.

Duties:

PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
Organising subcontractors
Quotations 
Health & Safety
Logbooks
Risk assessments
Permits to work
Requirements:

Fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
Career driven 
At least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance 
Apprentice trained is desirable
