Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain product specifications for new and existing food products.

* Collaborate with product development and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

* Review ingredient declarations and nutritional information for accuracy and compliance.

* Conduct training sessions for staff on specification requirements and updates.

* Work with suppliers to gather necessary information for product specifications.

* Update specifications in accordance with regulatory changes and internal policies.

* Assist in resolving any specification-related issues that arise during production or quality checks.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.

* Proven experience in specification writing or food product development.

* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.

* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and specification management software.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address specification issues effectively
